How Hitler came to be…
After its defeat in World War I, Germany was humiliated by the Versailles Treaty, which reduced its prewar territory, drastically reduced its armed forces, demanded the recognition of its guilt for the war, and stipulated it pay reparations to the allied powers. Germany became weak and needed a strong leader to take in the country. Adolf Hitler, the leader of the National socialist German workers Party on January 30th, 1933 was appointed chancellor of Germany by President Paul von Hindenburg.

Commonly known as the Nazi Party, was a political party in Germany between 1920 and 1945. During his time spent with the Nazi Party Hitler grew as an orator. Many people swooned over lies used by Hitler. In April 1920, Hitler changed the name of the party by using the word “National” redefining socialism. He gave only people of the pure German Blood equal rights. After testing against another leader of the party he became the new and solid leader. He created a small army of men as he called them “Storm troopers” or “Sturm Abteilung”. They paraded through the streets protesting against the German government. Many people began listening to what Hitler and the Nazi Party were saying. In November 1932 the support for the Nazi Party fell. The German Communist Party made substantial gains in the election winning 100 seats. Hitler scared the citizens of Germany and used that to his own greedy advantage. They showed hatred and superiority to the Treay of Versallies.

Nazi Party before World War ll
Hitler had started a movement with the Nazi Party which was lacking some vital things on his way to success. One was a symbol or representation of what they are and what they stood for. The infamous swastika was put into place the summer of 1920. That sign would be seen and used throughout the World War ll. Hitler started to see the weakness in France and Great Britain compared to the German expansion. In March 1938 Hitler decided to attack Austria. The attack was going against the Treaty of Versailles. Germanys expansion was eastwards was driven by Hitler’s yearning to get all pure German speaking citizens together and grow the size for German bloods to have more land. The jewish community was attacked and sent to concentration camps across Germany and Austria. Later Hitler In March 1939, Germany seized the remainder of Czechoslovakia. Poland would be next and that would be the start of World War ll. |
